The Immigrant Services Program (ISP) targets our services to assist immigrants and refugees who are living in low income households, have language and/or cultural barriers, and need assistance in accessing community resources. However, we do assist others as staff time is available. Direct services, case management, and referrals are provided to clients to help them gain self-sufficiency.
Examples of our services include:
- Job development services
- Referrals to adult ESL classes and tutoring
- Help with understanding and accessing community resources
- Assistance with completing applications
- Help with accessing healthcare and childcare providers
- Referrals to in-house SNAP and health insurance application appointments
- Referrals to tax preparation programs including ITIN applications
- Assistance with completing notices regarding social services and public benefits
